Is there going to be a “real estate bubble” [that bursts]?

That’s a question I get a lot. The only burst we’ve seen since I’ve been in this business was after the mortgage and financial meltdown beginning in late 2007.  Sure, we’ve had some ups and downs in our market—it’s not always just UP—but the moves are pretty subtle, and are driven by seasons, politics, natural disasters (think pandemic here), interest rate changes, and even stock market fluctuations. However, slight changes to price trends are not a sign of a bubble bursting. With the continued high demand and low supply of homes, I don’t see a “burst” in sight.
